This web page is designed to assist everybody to understand why some people reach such a high standard - we call "International Level".

Led by the media most athletes 'compete with other athletes', 'judge others', and place a huge pressure on themselves by carrying the 'weight of their country' - all this equals poorer performances and make 'best results' harder to achieve.

Competing is only stage 1 in developing the natural talent given to you!

So you never retire – you only ever change direction within your natural talent.

There is no such thing as “a team” – there is only ever an individual, trying to achieve their best ever result.

In many events in life – individuals need to develop their respect for and co-operate with others so their best result is achieved together.

There is only one competitor in every event in which a person competes – it is himself or herself!

We should only ever compete against ourselves!

A career is developing your natural talent or talents and receiving the financial means to support yourself and your family.

A career is NOT just a job!

A career should be doing a hobby for your whole lifetime and getting paid for it!
